The Church of Pentecost of the Konongo Area climax their Easter convention on the theme "This same Jesus is Christ and Messiah".
Speaking on ACTS 2:36 as is for the theme of the convention, Apostle Frederick Kweku Andoh touched on the subject "The Lordship and Christology of Jesus". Apostle Frederick Kweku Andoh, the Area Head of the Church of Pentecost - Konongo Area explained the spiritual Lordship and Christology of Jesus. He stated, "the Lordship of Jesus Christ should not be misrepresented or misinterpreted as to mean the Lord of a Justice."
Throwing more light, he explained that, the authority and power of Jesus Christ supersedes any other authority and power that operates both on earth and in the heavens noting that, God (the Father) has delivered unto Jesus Christ (His only begotten Son) the authority of heaven and earth. Jesus Christ is thus savior of man and that if any man, people or nation believes in Him, He(Jesus Christ) shall fully restore unto them salvation. He admonished the congregation to therefore believe in the authority and power of Jesus Christ so that they will be at peace, be comforted, encouraged and at harmony in life.
"The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives brings remarkable results." Thus, admonishing leaders and citizens of this nation to allow themselves to be used by the Holy Spirit so that, Ghana will achieve remarkable results in our quest to become a developed nation. On this, he prayed that the renewal of the Holy Spirit be felt by all men.
Apostle Frederick Kweku Andoh continued the sermon by emphasizing that, "knowing this same Jesus, for whose purpose we have been gathered here since Thursday will give us knowledge that we are not ordinary men." Jesus reveals himself to all men who believe in Him, that they may know him and the power of His resurrection, he said.
"Jesus did good. He exhibited this through his numerous healings of the sick, feeding of the hungry, wiping away the tears of the crying and taking away all pains of the afflicted. As His followers therefore, we must exhibit all these characteristics knowing and believing what authority and power He has conferred on us as His Apostles in this world.
